Austin Criminal Lawyer

10 hours north of Austin, a man was involved in a police chase that led to him being shot. The chase began around 6:30pm on Thursday in Cedar Park and ended in Bertram. A road block in Bertram along with an officer shooting the driver brought the chase to its end.

The driver was traveling at speeds near 100mph in the chase. After being shot and crashing, the man was taken to Brackenridge Hospital where he remains in stable condition. The man has not yet been charged, but likely will be once he gets out of the hospital and the Texas Rangers have investigated further.
