The witness to the crime said that the man running away from the scene was wearing black shorts and a white shirt. The witness told police that the man was leaving the scene just moments after the gun shot was heard in the area.

Police are now working to put together clues to catch the man involved in the shooting. There is currently no word yet on how the man, who was shot, is doing, but police have said that they will release an official statement when they have word on him.

A young Texas couple charged with killing “Baby Grace” has had the charges upgraded to capital murder from injury to a child and tampering with evidence after police authorities gathered more information about the case.

According to authorities, the body was found in October of last year.  Police officers say that the baby was beaten to death, placed into a blue trash bin, and cast into the Galveston Bay.  A fisherman found the body on an uninhabited island not far from the coast.

Police posted pictures of the girls face on public television and in many public venues.  It wasn’t until the girl’s grandmother called the authorities, saying that the mystery girl looked very much like her granddaughter.  DNA testing later confirmed.

An Indiana man died recently after having shot himself in his office.  The man was arrested on charges of embezzlement totaling more than $350,000 dollars from his various clients.

The police arrested him earlier in the week at his accounting office.  Authorities say that he posted bond later that evening and was released from jail custody. 

He was facing felony charges of corrupt business influence, forgery and theft.  According to authorities, the man embezzled the money by not forwarding personal tax payment and payroll to the IRS several years before.
